HEW CHEE FONG Australia

Fong was born in Malaysia and settled in Australia in 1980 where he completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts at Newcastle University. He is attracted by the enduring nature, the stability, the dependability and the timelessness represented by stone. Fong has worked from the Sunshine Coast in Queensland Australia for the last three decades. He has expressed his passions and emotions looking for beauty in the simplicity which can be found in natural materials such as stone.
