The Artist

AGNESSA PETROVA Bulgaria

Agnessa was born in Bulgaria in 1968. She has a PhD in Art History from the Fine Art Academy of Sofia, Bulgaria and has written extensively on the history of art in Bulgaria. She is a sought after participant in international exhibitions and sculpture symposiums and has been involved in numerous painting and sculpture projects in more than a dozen countries. Agnessa also works in stone and wood and has participated in ephemeral exhibitions of snow carving. 

"The energy and mystery of running water or wine and all the beautiful wavy shapes created are the subject of the composition. I tried to express the inspiration and the feeling of freedom or flight that is suggested by these shapes.”
