Gheorghi Filin holds degrees from and has been a Professor of fine arts in both Bulgaria and Italy. He has won many international prizes for the quality of his sculpture in competitions and exhibitions around the world.
"His work is subtle and evocative, by virtue of the progressive reduction of mass and volume. He liberates the forms from the weight of the material, and preserves the sense of organic connection to the earth, to live and breathe in purity.”
